- **** Begin Amendment 2 This solicitation is extended until July 22, 2022 at 4:00pm ET.� Proposals submitted prior to June 27, 2022 will not be considered. The solicitation documents from Amendment A00001 are accurate, except for the following changes to the RFP: The new closing date for receipt of proposals is July 22, 2022 at 4:00pm ET. Any questions must be submitted by July 6, 2022 at 4:00pm ET. The drop test for the density meters is no longer a requirement of the solicitation, and no drop test will be conducted.� References in the RFP to the drop test may be ignored.� However. the requirements in section 3.2.5.6 of the Statement of Work involving drop ruggedness are still applicable. All standard clauses are updated to their current version as of the release date of June 27, 2022, including: Clause 52.212-4 is updated to the November 2021 version Clause 52.212-5 is updated to the May 2022 version (all marked clauses remain the same between the versions). Clause 52.219-9 is updated to the November 2021 version. Clause 52.219-16 is updated to the September 2021 version. Clause 52.222-50 is updated to the November 2021 version. Clause 52.222-54 is updated to the May 2022 version. Clause 52.232-40 is changed to the November 2021 version (no longer a clause deviation) Provision 52.212-1 is updated to the November 2021 version Provision 52.204-24 is updated to the November 2021 version. Provision 52.212-2 is updated to the November 2021 version.� Fill-in under paragraph (a) is unchanged. Provision 52.212-3 is updated to the May 2022 version. In addition, Clause 52.223-99 Ensuring Adequate COVID-19 Safety Protocols For Federal Contractors (OCT 2021) (Deviation) is added to the RFP. End Amendment 2 **** Amendment A00001 Published on July 23, 2021. Attachments: Revised Statement of Work, Revised Request for Proposals, Questions and Answers. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a further written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This is issued as a request for proposals (RFP).� The RFP form is attached. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05.� Referenced FAR clauses can be found at www.acquisition.gov . (iv) This synopsis/solicitation is issued with full and open competition under the NAICS 334517 for �Irradiation Apparatus Manufacturing�. (v) This RFP is for Density Meters for the Non-Intrusive Inspection program for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).� The attached Statement of Work provides details. (vi) Specific requirements are outlined in the attached RFP.� The result of this RFP will be the establishment of an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract between CBP and the successful vendor or vendors.� Multiple IDIQ awards may be made on this RFP. (vii) Supplies and services will be requested via task orders for certain places or time periods on an as-needed basis. (viii) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors�Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) 52.212-2, Evaluation�Commercial Items is included.� The contract will be awarded using a trade-off analysis as outlined in the attached RFP document. (x) Please include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications�Commercial Items, with any offer, unless already registered as active in the System for Acquisition Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. (xi) FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions�Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xii) FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders�Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.� Additional clauses cited by that clause are applicable and can be found in the attached RFP. (xiii) All other terms and conditions can be found in the RFP. (xiv) No Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating has been assigned. (xv) Offers are due at 3:00 PM ET, July 30, 2021.� Submission instructions can be found at the end of the attached solicitation.
