Required: 110 each) Solid wooded frames, two seater sofa units upholstered in Burgundy Wipeable Vinyl, Light Wood finish. �140cm wide, between 75-85cm deep x 83cm high.� Solid beech frame.� Seat cushions no less than 12cm thick back cushion, no less than 10cm thick, fillings to meet British Fire standards (equal or similar items). Single Seat Easy Chair (Qty. Required: 220 each) Solid wooded frames, single seater sofa units upholstered in Burgundy Wipeable Vinyl, Light Wood Finish. �70cm wide, between 75-85cm deep, 83cm high. �Solid beech frame. Seat cushions no less than 12cm thick, back cushion no less than 10cm thick, fillings to meet British Fire standards�(equal or similar items). Other Specifications Solid Beech Timber finished with Anti-bacterial protective Lacquer. All joints hand glued Mortise and Tenor joints with metal to metal fixings. Upholstered by hand using traditional upholstery methods. Using contract grade anti-microbial vinyl protected material which is wipe cleanable and does not allow pet hair contamination to ingress into fabric.� Must meet 750000 Martindale rubs. Fire retarded foam to British standard 5852 part 2; 1982, ignition source 5 (Crib 5). Furnishings ordered for destination shall be pre-assembled ready for usage and packaged for warehouse storages. Delivery/packing terms shall meet commercial standard shipping practices to allow safe transport and ensure minimum risk of damage. Packing will provide weather and dirt protection to items for duration of transport and storage. Delivery time must be coordinated by the Government receiving activity and must approve scheduled delivery time prior to commencement as specified. The contractor is responsible for any damages incurred during shipping moving and installation. Use of hardwoods such as Oak, Beech, Ash and Maple is required. All softwoods such as Pine or rain forest species are not acceptable. All wood shall be kiln-dried to a moisture content of 5-10%. All exposed wood parts shall be clear cutting and free of knots, splits, or checks. Interior wood parts shall be of suitable hardwoods free of any defects that may affect the structural integrity of the furniture. All internal framing shall be constructed from selected mixed hardwoods. The furniture finish shall be a multi-coat formulation, premium grade for filled grained woods. Steam bent wood parts shall be of species suitable for bending and if exposed shall have grain and finishing characteristics similar to other exposed wood parts. No fiberboard, particleboard, medium density fiberboard or hardboard (MDF), shall be used in any part of the furniture or in any plywood component. Exterior surfaces and exposed interior surfaces shall be solid hard wood or hard wood veneer. All framing materials shall be solid hard wood. All joints must be stronger than the substrate itself and must resist racking and withstand loading. Furniture shall be movable by lifting and handling the chair frame.
