- Correct the proposal due date in the annoucement to the 1st of July to match amendment 01 and the SF 30. Amendment 02 The purpose of this amendment is to change the proposal due date from June 24th, 2022 to July 1st, 2022 and to change the period of perfromance start date from 1 July 2022 to 18 July 2022.�� Amendment 01 Provides the Governments response to request for information submitted.� See attached.� Combined Solicitation & Synopsis FY22 Inyo National Forest South Zone Trailhead Janitorial 127EAS22Q0046 The Department of Agriculture, US Forest Service, Business Operations Procurement & Property Services Field Procurement Center Southwest Zone Procurement Support CSA2, and Inyo National Forest requires services for janitorial services (toilet cleaning and trash removal) to be performed on recreation facilities located on the Inyo National Forest. This is a combined / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The government intends to award a single award Firm Fixed Price Contract. � AS PER THE GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS IN ATTACHMENTS AND THE FOLLOWING ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Contractor Responsibility: The contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, supplies and transportation to perform the services and ensure that the designated areas present a clean, healthy, orderly and well-kept appearance. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: See attachment 01 COMMENCEMENT PROSECUTION, AND COMPLETION OF WORK (FAR 52.211-10) (APR 1984) The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within 7 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than 45 days after notice to proceed. �Work is estimated to begin July, 1st �2022. SITE VISIT: Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. The Contractor is required to comply with applicable Federal and State workers' compensation and occupational disease statutes. If occupational diseases are not compensable under those statutes, they shall be covered under the employer's liability section of the insurance policy, except when contract operations are so commingled with a Contractor's commercial operations that it would not be practical to require this coverage. Employer's liability coverage of at least $100,000 shall be required, except in States with exclusive or monopolistic funds that do not permit worker's compensation to be written by private carriers. (b) General Liability. The Contractor shall have bodily injury liability insurance coverage written on a comprehensive form of policy of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence. (c) Automobile Liability. The Contractor shall have automobile liability insurance written on a comprehensive form of policy. The policy shall provide for bodily injury and property damage liability covering the operation of all automobiles used in connection with performing the contract. Policies covering automobiles operated in the United States shall provide coverage of at least $200,000 per person and $500,000 per occurrence for bodily injury and $20,000 per occurrence for property damage or loss. (d) Aircraft Public and Passenger Liability. When aircraft are used in connection with performing the contract, the Contractor shall have aircraft public and passenger liability insurance. Coverage shall be at least $200,000 per person and $500,000 per occurrence for bodily injury, other than passenger injury. Coverage for passenger injury shall be at least $200,000 multiplied by the number of seats or passengers, whichever is greater. (End of clause) Alternate I�(NOV 1996). (End of clause) 52.217-8 - Option to Extend Services (Nov 1999) The Government may require continued performance of any services within the limits and at the rates specified in the contract. These rates may be adjusted only as a result of revisions to prevailing labor rates provided by the Secretary of Labor. The option provision may be exercised more than once, but the total extension of performance hereunder shall not exceed 6 months. The Contracting Officer may exercise the option by written notice to the Contractor within 60 days of the period of performance end date.
