Description
PRESOLICITATION NOTICE This document serves as notification of an upcoming solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 22, Network Contracting Office 22 (NCO 22) has a requirement for Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC) for construction services. The Department of Veterans Affairs has a requirement for on-going facilities support for general construction, alteration, modification, maintenance and repair, demolition and new construction of buildings, facilities and real property located at VISN 22 facilities located in Southern California (Greater Los Angeles, Loma Linda, Long Beach and San Diego), Arizona (Phoenix, Prescott and Tucson), and New Mexico (Albuquerque). The intent of this requirement is to award MATOC/Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts with a base year and four (4) one (1)-year option periods for a total of five (5) year performance period. Work for the contract will be performed in a functioning hospital environment. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, training, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to accomplish the work. The work includes, but is not limited to general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, necessary demolition and removal of existing structures and certain other items necessary for completion. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings (when available) of the solicitation and all applicable local and VA building codes. This project will be procured as 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and must be listed as verified in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database at https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a Size Standard of $39.5M. The MATOC solicitation will include a Seed Project. The VA will issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) on or about July 13, 2022 via Contract Opportunities at https://beta.sam.gov/. A site visit for the Seed Project will be scheduled, and the date/time/location will be provided in the solicitation.
