Description
Purpose: The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to obtain information for the purposes of market research which may inform future requirement and contract efforts for the National Training Center (NTC) Western Training Area (WTA) Instrumentation Systems Expansion. This requirement will utilize North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 333318 code for this acquisition. Summary: The U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) through Product Manager for Combat Training Instrumentation Systems (PdM CTIS) is requesting white papers providing possible technical solutions for all or part of the requirements discussed below. The Western Training Area (WTA) at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, CA culminates multiple years of planning that has considered environmental, cultural, technical, operational, and tactical goals and objectives. The WTA will provide the battle space that a modern Brigade Combat Team requires to train all combat system. PdM CTIS will extend the current NTC instrumentation systems into the WTA. Request: Interested parties are requested to provide a capabilities statement for the design and to extend the existing networks and microwave data backhaul for the instrumentation systems to include the efforts it takes to provide an efficient power source, build the tower sites and foundation with the responses answering the below questions in a work document NOT TO EXCEED (NTE) eighteen (18) single pages not including the cover page. How will the company extend the existing AT&T LTE network into WTA?� AT&T is the Original�Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). � � � �2.How will the company extend the existing LTE Instrumentation (IPUR+TESS) network into WTA? � � � �3. How will the company extend the existing LTE CTCS-D network into WTA? � � � �4. How will the company extend the existing RCS/OCCS network into WTA? � � � �5.�How will the company extend the existing Voice Tactical Monitoring (VTM) network into WTA? � � � �6. How will the company extend the existing EADS network into WTA? � � � �7.How will the company extend the existing MAAR / Video network into WTA? � � � �8.How will the company extend the existing AADMS network into WTA? � � � �9. How will the company extend the existing SMECS network into WTA? � � �10. Provide relevant past examples or prior performance of similar tasks. � � �12. In your estimation, how much of this potential requirement would your firm need to subcontract to other firms? � � �13. Identify potential companies considered as a subcontractor.� � � �14. Provide a Rough Order Magnitude (ROM) for the completion of this effort. Relevant experience are projects that are similar to the described requirements that have occurred in the past 5 years. Please include at most 3 relevant projects and the following information: 1. Customer Name 2. Customer POC/Client Email 3. Program Name 4. Contract (s) Number 5. Total Contract Value 6. Period of Performance 7. Brief Description of Services Provided 8. Is there a CPARS available, YES or NO? The cover page of the response shall include the company name, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, address, point of contact including phone number and email address, as well as the small business status and socio-economic of the responding company. Note: Please do not include capabilities information. Capabilities information will not be considered as part of responses to this RFI. Responses: The response shall be due no later than 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on 11 July 2022.
