Description

Contract Award Dollar Amount: $24,664.76 Line Item Number: 2001-2005 Contract Award Date: 8/26/2020 Contractor: New Beginnings Capital Partnership, LLC Description: The 82d Contracting Squadron intends to exercise the 2nd Option Period for Contract FA302020P0033.� The subject contract is for Wing VTC Warranty Maintenance services at Sheppard AFB and was initially awarded on 26 August 2020. The 1st option period was exercised on 26 August 2021 successfully and is due to expire on 25 August 2022. The 2nd Option Period extends performance from 26 August 2022 - 25 August 2023. The customer has verified the need to continue this requirement and validated the contractor's satisfactory performance under the contract during the last option period.� Sole Source Justification: New Beginnings Capital Partnership is the sole source provider of this warranty IAW FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) due to their unique knowledge of the system's configuration and architecture. Re-competing this requirement would involve a new company inspecting and certifying the current system and would pose an unnecessary security risk as the company would need to access both NIPR and SIPR lines.
