Description

Notice of Intent to Award as a Sole Source The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Belvoir, on behalf of The Department of Public Works (DPW), Fort Belvoir, intends to award a sole source contract for solid waste disposal services to Bates Trucking Company, Inc. located 4305 48th Street, Bladensburg, MD 20710-1107. This sole source award is necessary to maintain continuity of services until the follow-on effort is awarded.� The anticipated value of the award is $1,959,059.00.� Period of Performance 1 July 2022 � 30 June 2023 with a six month extension if needed 31 December 2023. This Notice of Intent to award the contract is not a request for competitive proposals. Any responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of the work would be advantageous to the government. THERE WILL BE NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS UNDER THIS NOTICE OF INTENT. PHONE CALLS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
