Description
The U.S. Army Contracting Command, New Jersey (ACC-NJ) on behalf of the Office of the Project Manager, Maneuver Ammunition Systems (OPM-MAS), will be hosting a Medium Caliber Ammunition Industry Day. The Industry Day is scheduled to start at 8:30 AM (ET) during 9-10 August 2022 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Rockaway, NJ, with onsite registration beginning at 8:00 AM. The purpose of this Industry Day is to provide information regarding opportunities on current and future projects overseen by the Product Manager for Medium Caliber Ammunition, including legacy production, development programs and product improvement programs ranging from 20mm to 40mm. Interested participants must pre-register for Industry Day by completing the registration form attached to this announcement NLT 29 JULY 22. All representatives MUST provide a Government form of photo identification at registration. Please send the completed registration form electronically to Ms. Katherine N. Conklin at katherine.n.conklin.civ@army.mil and Ms. Megan E. Brezina at megan.e.brezina.civ@army.mil by no later than 29 JULY 2022. If the participant attending the Industry Day is a foreign visitor, a Foreign Visitor Request (FVR) must be filled out and submitted on the corporate letterhead of the company requesting access no later than 08 JULY 2022 to the POCs above. Please use the attached example of the FVR as a guide for when submitting this request. The letterhead must include a physical corporate address, post office boxes will not be accepted, and be signed by a corporate officer: CEO or VP (Note: FVR's signed by the CFO will not be accepted). Also, the person signing the FVR cannot also be listed as a visitor. Industry Day will consist of the (2) days: 1) General session: The general session will be conducted at the Hilton Garden Inn, Rockaway, NJ on 9 AUGUST 2022, to cover all current and planned Medium Caliber projects overseen by the Product Manager for Medium Caliber Ammunition, opportunities in Science and Technology with DEVCOM Armaments Center.� A draft agenda for the general sessions will be provided upon receipt of registration.� All information exchanged during the General Session will be DISTRIBUTION STATEMENT A: Approved for public release. 2) Feedback Panel and Networking: This session will be conducted on 10 AUGUST 2022 at the Hilton Garden Inn, Rockaway, NJ.� There will be three Panels, PM, Industry, User where companies will be given the opportunity to ask questions, provide feedback and identify challenges in an open forum. Questions can be provided to Ms. Katherine N. Conklin at katherine.n.conklin.civ@army.mil and/or Ms. Megan E. Brezina at megan.e.brezina.civ@army.mil leading up to the event, as well as through the General Session on Day 1 of the event. In addition, a Speed Networking event will be planned where companies will have a designated amount of time, to network with USG personnel and/or Prime Contractors, rotating to all of the tables.� Companies interested in having a Network table or being apart of the Industry Panel, please provide on the attached registration form. The following are the Medium Caliber Industry Day Rules of Engagement (RoE): - The Government intends to use this forum to better refine its requirements, not to elicit trade secrets. - No sales pitches allowed from industry; no give-aways. - No cameras, tape recorders, or other reproduction devices are allowed. - Total time allotted for the contractor's one-on-one session is thirty minutes. Under no circumstances will the allotted time be extended. - Restrict comments/questions to the topics listed in this forum. -The Government will publish answers to questions asked during the 1-on-1�s at the conclusion of the Industry Day event. - Contractor personnel must be identified in advance, and only advance substitutions (2 days in advance notice) will be permitted. This announcement shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a commitment by the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Industry Day.
