- This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a pre-solicitation notice only. The purpose of this pre-solicitation notice is to announce that the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System has an impending requirement for Social Worker Staffing Services. The resulting contract will be for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with five (5) one (1) year periods. The contract will begin on or about September 1, 2022. Description of Services: The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System requires Social Worker Staffing Services in support of the HUD-VASH Program. The Contractor shall provide ten (10) Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) and ten (10) Associate Clinical Social Workers (ACSW) and possess all, but not limited to the following qualifications: a. LCSWs shall hold a master s degree in social work granted by a graduate program fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) and be independently licensed at the advanced practice level. b. ACSWs shall hold a master s degree in social work granted by a graduate program fully accredited by the CSWE and be supervised by an independent practitioner of the same discipline who is a VA staff member who has access to the Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS) c. Be licensed through the State of California s Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) at the advanced practice level. d. Be knowledgeable of the State of California Welfare Programs e. Have a basic understanding of VAGLAHS social service role, housing-first model, harm reduction, and homeless services within the VAGLAHS catchment area. f. Be knowledgeable of community resources and how to access these resources g. Be culturally sensitive to individuals from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. h. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with CERS staff, VAGLAHS staff, and community partners. i. Possess a current, valid, and unencumbered California driver s license. All Offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database found at https://www.sam.gov at the time of proposal submission and at the time of award. Additionally, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses who respond to a solicitation must be registered and verified in the Vet-Biz Registry located at http://vip.vetbiz.gov at the time of proposal submission and the time of award. The contract shall be issued as a Firm-Fixed Price contract paid Monthly in arrears. All requirements shall be detailed in the impending solicitation to be issued on or about July 22, 2022. No questions will be considered prior to the release of the solicitation.
