- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division intends to initiate a Request for Quote (RFQ) repair the fuel-oil distribution and control system located in Building 77H and the adjacent exterior fuel storage compound.. The work shall be performed between 0700 to 1630 Monday through Friday unless otherwise specified. Work requiring outages to electrical or mechanical systems must be scheduled off-hours Monday through Friday between 1900 and 0500 or on a Saturday or Sunday between 0700 to 1630. For full description of the work see Section C of the solicitation. Period of performance including delivery is estimated at 150 Days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Payment and performance bonding is a requirement for this procurement. Liquidated damages will be applicable to this procurement. FAR Clause 52.228-1 Bid Guarantee will be included. The site visit will be held at the Philadelphia Naval Business Center Philadelphia, PA 19112 on Tuesday 28 June 2022 at 3:00 PM ET. All contractor personnel will meet the TPOC, John Prince, at Bldg 4 5001 S. Broad St. Philadelphia, PA 19112.� All requests to attend the site visit must be sent to the Contract Specialist no later than 24 June 2022 by 10:00 AM ET. Requests recieved after this date may not have sufficient time for processing. Contractor shall verify all conditions, dimensions and methods at the site prior to start of work. The contractor shall notify the Contract Specialist in writing of differences in site conditions described in this SOW versus the contractor�s field verifications within five calendar days of the contactor�s site visit. Notification must be made to the Contract Specialists if you are planning to attend the site visit, along with the following information, at least one days prior to the pre-proposal site visit: full name and ""Are you traveling from outside Local Philadelphia Area (>50 miles) within last 14 days? If yes, please list areas traveled."" On the day of the pre-proposal site visit, the contractor shall complete the NSWCPD COVID-19 Screening and Self-Assessment Questionnaire (Attachment 4). If there are any ""Yes"" answers, the contractor shall contact the Contracting Officer about options for the site visit. A site visit is strongly encouraged for this project so that the Contractor can familiarize themselves with the equipment, location, and layout.
