Description
The BOS services at NSGB include all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to effectively execute: Family Housing, Facility Management, Facility Investment, Custodial, Pest Control; Integrated Solid Waste Management (ISWM), Other (Swimming Pools), Grounds Maintenance and Landscaping, Utilities including Electrical, Wastewater, and Water, and Base Support Vehicles and Equipment (BSVE).� TENTATIVE SITE VISIT INFORMATION: Tentatively, a two-day site visit brief onboard NSGB has been scheduled for 3rd and 4th August 2022.� Site Visit Forms (for travel to NSGB): Access to NSGB is tightly controlled, requiring significant advance notice after the receipt of the completed forms to receive access. Therefore, the completed forms MUST be submitted to Jen Doherty at jennifer.e.doherty.civ@us.navy.mil with a copy to Macie Higginbotham at macie.d.higginbotham.civ@us.navy.mil �no later than 2:00 PM EDT, 30 June 2022 or bring a hard copy to the Industry Forum on 23 June 2022 and submit to Jen Doherty prior to the completion of the event.� **With submission of the site visit forms, also provide: Name (First, Middle, Last), DOB, and CAC card number (if applicable). Instructions for travel to the site visit and NSGB Entry Clearance Forms are posted on the SAM.gov website at https://sam.gov/content/home under filenames: NSGB Site Visit Instructions; ENCL (1) Entry Clearance Cover Sheet; ENCL (2) SECNAV 5512; ENCL (3) AMC Flight Reservation Request Based on limited accommodations, reservations for no more than two representatives from each prospective offeror will be accepted. Therefore, each prospective offeror is limited to two (2) site visit participants. When booking please reference �NSGB Site Visit�. There is currently 7 rooms blocked at the Navy Lodge and 10 rooms blocked at the NGIS for this site visit. NOTE***You will need to have�a negative COVID-19 test (PCR Test ONLY) within 72 hours of flight (this is mandatory to show to get on the plane). Please bring your vaccination card with you to show proof of vaccination. If you happen to get sick while onboard NSGB and test positive for COVID-19 this will affect your ROM status while on island. Proof of vaccination is required prior to boarding.� SITE VISIT UPDATE:� Due to recent delays (up to two days) with the scheduled Tuesdays Flight to Naval Station Guantanamo (NSGB) and extremely limited seat availability, another option for those that are interested in participating in the NSGB BOS contract site visit on 3 and 4 August 2022, is to travel to Guantanamo Bay on Friday, 29 July 2022 and return on Friday, 5 August 2022.� The installation has blocked additional Navy Gateway Inn and Suites (NGIS) billeting for these days.� When calling to make lodging reservations, advise the reservation clerk that the rooms are reserved under LT Ian Jordan�s name. If there are specific requests for buildings, areas, systems, etc. to tour during the site visit, please provide input during the Industry Forum Q&A or submit via email to Jen Doherty at jennifer.e.doherty.civ@us.navy.mil by 2:00 PM EDT, Thursday, 7 July 2022.� There is no guarantee requests will be visited during the site visit.
