Description
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (""USHMM"" or the ""Museum) requires contractor services for shooting, editing, and production of educational videos of varying lengths in support of the Levine Institute of Holocaust Education (each, a ""Video""). The immediate requirement being solicited for Museum's International Criminal Justice Leadership (ICJL) Project (the Project), has been sponsored by the US Department of States Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL). JUNE 30, 2022 UPDATE: As anticipated by and wholly consistent with par. 1.4 of the RFP, USHMM has newly identified a supplemental Videography requirement for the Levine Institute of Holocaust Education. Offerors should itemize and address this need separately when submitting their quotes as USHMM reserves the right to make separate awards to address ICJL's and IHDA's disparate requirements. 1. The Initiative on Holocaust Denial and Antisemitism (IHDA) welcomes close to 500 international visitors to the Museum during a typical year. International visitors from our target audiences engaging with the Museum for the first time (in person or virtually) are most often unaware of the Museums founding rationale and principles, its purpose, and the scope of our work. Additionally, a segment of our international visitors come to the Museum with preconceived notions about the Holocaust and/or the purpose of Holocaust commemoration and museums. In order to improve programming, IHDA is seeking a production company to create a 3-5 minute video introduction to the Museum and our international work, including, though not limited to, the following themes: a. Holocaust definition b. Basic Museum information c. The Museums placement on the National Mall d. The Museum as a global institution e. Contemporary genocide and mass atrocity work 2. We would like the film to be created in a similar style to the following: a. Example 1: ""What You Do Matters"" -https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=3NGS13P5Jf8 b. Example 2: ""The Power of Truth"" -https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=h5hohayPtso Otherwise, please review the attached documents for details.
