Description

The Regional Health Contracting Office � Pacific, in support of Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Hawaii intends to make a sole source award to Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Inc. for the purchase of Blood Gas Analyzers & Reagents.� These analyzers and reagents are the only analyzers and reagents that can meet the Government�s need.� Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Inc. is the sole provider of the Blood Gas Analyzers and Reagents. �The authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is cited in FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) which authorizes the government to award contracts when there is only one source available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreement, brand name or industrial mobilization).
