- Description
- The Government anticipates issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) with the intent of awarding a Firm-Fixed Price construction contract for Military Ocean Terminal Concord (MOTCO) Pier 2 Generator Site Work, Concord, California. Project Description: The project�s scope consists of the civil site work necessary to support a complete stand-by power plant to power the MOTCO Pier. The power plant will consist of day tanks, main fuel storage tanks, fuel transfer pump (s), paralleling switchgears, generator management relays, switchgear management relay (which will be placed in the Substation switchgear), load bank, automatic transfer switch, transformer, and other electrical / mechanical equipment deemed necessary for the successful installation and operation of the generators. The civil site work includes site preparation, concrete pads for the equipment, electrical grounding, site lighting, fencing and bollards, and any required site demolition. In accordance with FAR 36.204(f) the estimated magnitude of construction is expected to be between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. This prospective contract action will be conducted using NAICS Code is 237130 � Power Communication Line and Related Structures Construction. The size standard is $39,500,000 in average annual receipts. �Product Service Code is 6115 Generators and Generator Sets, Electrical. The solicitation will proceed as a 100% small business set-aside and is estimated to be issued on or about 15 July 2022 with bids due tentatively on 31 August 2022.�� The IFB will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as sam.gov and will establish a firm bid due date/time. If the Government intends to conduct a pre-proposal conference and/or site visit, the date, time, location, and access requirements will be identified in the solicitation. PLEASE DO NOT request a copy of the solicitation, or draft plans and specifications, as they are not currently available. Any available technical data required to respond to the solicitation will be furnished as part of the solicitation. Following solicitation release, all responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by the agency. This project and/or the anticipated solicitation may be changed, delayed, or canceled at any time. Copies of the solicitation and the solicited plans and specifications will be made available for inspection without charge after the solicitation is released, when accessed through the GPE The only INTERESTED VENDORS LISTS (plan-holder's/bidder's list) is available via SAM.gov.� Contractors are responsible for self-identifying as interested vendors and viewing other interested vendors.� Contractors should check beta.sam.gov frequently for any changes to the interested vendors list and notice. **Note**: All prospective contractors and their subcontractors and suppliers must be registered in SAM.gov before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov/content/home prior to award of this contract. Solicitation documents, plans and specifications will only be available via the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) website https://wawf.eb.mil OR https://piee.eb.mil OR https://piee.eb.mil/xhtml/unauth/home/login.xhtml.
