Description
US Department of Veteran Affairs Request for Information 36C10B22Q0418_1 Brand Name Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Server and associated software and components. This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. Do not submit a proposal. This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered an Invitation for Bid, Request for Task Execution Plan, Request for Quotation or a Request for Proposal. Additionally, there is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this RFI. Your response to this RFI will be treated only as information for the Government to consider. You will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding to this RFI. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated or received for this effort. The information provided may be used by the VA in developing its acquisition strategy. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to pay for the information submitted in response to this RFI. Please see attached Draft Product Description (PD) for proposed brand name requirement of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) hardware solution. It is requested that all companies interested in participating in this effort please note their interest and submit responses to the items listed below. If interested, please provide the following: Please indicate whether you are a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), and if so under which North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code(s) are you considered a Small Business (as stated in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database) under the applicable NAICS Code associated with this posting. Please also indicate whether or not you are verified as an SDVOSB/VOSB in the Vendor Information Pages (https://www.vetbiz.va.gov/) as required under the Veterans First Contracting Program. A capability statement based on the requirements in the Draft PD. Please limit capability statement to 5 pages. Provide any technical questions/concerns on the Draft PD Please provide description/verification of your relationship to the Original Equipment Manufacturer and ability to resell its products. Please indicate any Contract Vehicle of which you are a part of that can be used to acquire your services as well the company business size and status you fall under for each vehicle (if different from the above). Instructions for Submitting Questions and the RFI Response: Please submit your RFI response in accordance with the following: 1) No more than 5- pages. 2) Mark your response as Proprietary Information if the information is considered business sensitive. 3) NO MARKETING MATERIALS ARE ALLOWED AS PART OF THIS RFI.  The Government will not review any other information or attachments included, that are in excess of the 5-page limit.  The Government will not review generic marketing materials that do not address the information contained herein or the attached documents.
