Description

*****Request for Information (RFI)***** The purposes of this RFI is to survey the market to see who provides the following: MTV HARD TOP- Color: OD GREEN - A hard shell top that covers the same general area as the MTV tarp and bows; approx 175"" long x 96"" wide x 72"" high.� -� Size and weight of the hard shell top makes no significant change to the vehicles' center of gravity.� -� It must be made of a material durable enough to maintain its structure in multiple environments; heat, cold, dust, snow, heavy rainfall, both high and low humidity. -� The design will facilitate the ease of installation and removal of the hard shell top from the MTV without modification of the MTV.� -� The hard shell must be water tight, i.e. keeps water out of the MTV cargo area during driving, washing, rainfall, and melting snow. -� The material must be adhesive to military spec Chemical Agent Resistant Coating (CARC) paint, as the hard shell top may be painted to match the color scheme of the vehicle. �-� Two doors, at the rear of the hard shell top giving access to the MTV cargo area for personnel to enter and exit the vehicle and also that allows cargo to be placed in the cargo area of the MTV. Doors must open to the outside and each door must be a minimum of 30 inches wide and 60 inches tall hinged on the left and right sides.� The bottom of the door should be flush with the bed of the truck.� Doors must be securable with padlocks. -� Must allow for the option of air vents to allow air flow and circulation in the enclosed storage area. -� Must allow for the option of porthole type windows in the sidewalls and rear doors of the hard shell top.
