Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, PA has a requirement for providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, testing, and reports required for stairwell wall tile repair. A summary of the scope of work is as follows: The scope of work shall generally consist of, but not necessarily be limited to, providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, to make repair in the stairwell 1,2,3 &4, of the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Facility. Any work determined by the COR as having a significant impact on the daily operations of the facility shall be conducted on an after-hours schedule. All federal, state, and local code/regulations/standards shall be followed. The work will consist of carefully removing a section on Terra cotta block frame the opening with metal studs drywall from wall to ceiling on one section of the stairwell spackle and paint. The contractor shall follow all federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and standards, and all work shall be performed during normal business hours 8:00AM to 4:30PM Monday to Friday excluding national holidays. The magnitude of this VA construction project is estimated to be between $250,000 and $5000,000. Period of Performance will be approximately 180 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Set-Aside Information: This solicitation is a 100% service-disabled veteran small business set aside (SDVOSB). The SDVOSB must be registered and current in the following websites: www.sam.gov and https://www.vetbiz.va.gov/vip. Offerors shall ensure registrations in these websites is correct, current and valid. The NAICS code for this project 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The small business size standard is $39.5 Million. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held within two weeks after issuance of the solicitation. The exact date/time/location of the conference will be specified in the solicitation. The solicitation documents will be posted at the Contract Opportunities website at: https://sam.gov/content/opportunities Solicitation posting is expected on or about July 25, 2022.
