- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value) The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center � Pacific requires the purchase of a new gangway for the NOAA Ship Fairweather. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number NM-AN2120-22-01286 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-04. (iv) The NAICS code for this acquisition is 332312 � Fabricated Structural Metal Manufacturing. This solicitation is being posted as a small business set aside. (v) Line items are as follows: CLIN 1:������������ Procurement of a new gangway (vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired:� The NOAA ship Fairweather requires the purchase of a new gangway per the specifications listed in the Statement of Need. Expected Shipping costs to be included in quote. (vii) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and FOB point. FOB Destination delivery is required no later than 7/31/2022 to: NOAA Ship Fairweather, Attn: Port Engineer Rob Edwards, Marine Operations Center � Pacific, 2002 SE Marine Science Drive, Newport, OR 97365. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors�Commercial, applies to this acquisition without addenda. (ix) The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation�Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.� Please see attached Terms and Conditions for specific evaluation criteria.
