Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for Solar Powered Picnic Tables. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 337124, Metal Household Furniture Manufacturing, business size 750 employees. Solar Powered Picnic Tables with Wi-Fi capabilities. The contractor shall furnish a quantity of 5 picnic tables with a canopy and solar powered panels with a 3-panel array. The picnic tables will provide seating for 5 and will have a space for a wheelchair which is ADA compliant. The table will also provide 2, 110-volt GFCI outlets, 4 wireless phone charging locations, 2 USB type C power outlets, high intensity lighting with ambient lighting at dusk, Wi-Fi capability using Cisco Aeronet 1560 wireless access points, deep charging gel battery banks. The picnic tables should also be able to withstand hurricane force winds of at least to 130 mph, the wind force of category 3 storms. The picnic tables will arrive fully assembled for turnkey use. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of industry, namely the Small Business Community to include Section 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women-Owned (WOSB) and Historically Underutilized (HUBZone) concerns, to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price Contract for this requirement. The type of solicitation to issue will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsible contractors. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. �This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.� If your organization has the potential capacity to provide/perform these contract supplies, please provide the following information: Dont submit a Quote at this time. Firm�s response to this Synopsis shall be limited to (2) pages and shall include the following information: 1.� Firm�s name, address, point of contact, phone number, website, and email address. 2.� Firm�s interest in bidding on the solicitation when it is issued. 3.� Tailored capability statements shall address the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational capability. Propriety information, if any, should be minimized and MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED. To aid the Government, please segregate propriety information. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIWS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES, PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION OR SOLE SOURCE. Submission Instructions: Interested parties shall respond to this Sources Sought no later than 11 July 2022 at 10:00 AM EST. All interested businesses must be registered in the Central Contractor�s Registration (CCR) through the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov to be eligible for award of Government contracts.
