- Special Notice Special Notice Page 2 of 2 INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirement. VA Medical Center Washington, DC. intends to negotiate a Sole Source Award with Terarecon Inc. They are located at 4309 Emperor Boulevard Suite 310, Durham, North Carolina 27703-8069. Terarecon Inc. is the original equipment/system/software manufacturer (OEM) and is the sole authorized licenser for equipment/software and provider of maintenance and support. Terarecon Inc. will provide a full-service to include authorized/trained technicians to perform preventive maintenance and technical support shall include all travel, labor, material, OEM parts, software updates and telephone support. The full service maintenance of the Terarcon Inc. equipment/system/software updates will be performed at the VA Medical Center Washington, DC., 50 Irving Street NW, Washington, DC. 20422.The NAICS code for this procurement is 811219. The size standard is $22.0 million. Interested & Capable Responses NCO 5 is seeking responses from entities that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, capabilities, and qualifications necessary to provide these services. Please respond with your: 1. Business name, business type, socio-economic status (e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business, 8(a), etc.), and person of contact (including telephone number & email address). 2. Capability statement and summary of previous experience providing sterilizer inspection & maintenance services for the Veterans Health Administration or other similar healthcare facilities. 3. GSA contract number, if your company has one, that includes line items covering these types of services in the Washington, DC geographical area. 4. Ballpark cost estimate of what the DC VAMC could expect to pay your company to perform the work described above per year. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. It is not a solicitation or request; no solicitation package is available. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit capability statement no later than 1:00 pm. (EST) Friday, July 15, 2022, to Veronica.Dillard@va.gov.
