- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for quotes. The Department of Veterans Affairs and Canandaigua VA Medical Center intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), sole source action to; Name of Contractor: Ergonomic Solutions, Ltd. Street Address: 201 Main Street, Suite C City, State, Zip: East Rochester, NY 14564 The objective of this action is to procure brand specific Ergotron TRACE Dual Monitor Mounts as detailed below. Market research was conducted in accordance with FAR part 10. Government technical experts evaluated monitor mounts currently available in the marketplace, specifically focusing on: Unit weight Vertical and horizontal adjustment Rotational capabilities Ability to accommodate 24 monitors. The Ergotron TRACE Dual Monitor Mount was selected as the best model for this requirement. Ergonomic Solutions, Ltd. was presented as the sole authorized distributor servicing the Canandaigua area, available for award and provided installation services. This notice of intent to sole source with justification for brand name only satisfies the public posting requirements of FAR 13.501. All capability statements must be received by no later than 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on July 15, 2022. Responses to be submitted to Lindsay Goldsmith, Contracting Officer at lindsay.goldsmith@va.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Veterans Health Administration prohibits the use of gray market items in their Medical Centers. Gray market items are considered to be items outside of the original equipment manufacturer s intended distribution channels.
