Description

National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Glenn Research Center (GRC) intends to issue a sole source extension to the Technical Information, Administrative, and Logistics Services 2 (TIALS-2) contract. NASA GRC intends to acquire these services from Alcyon Technical Services (JV) LLC (ATS). The current contractor will provide uninterrupted services without duplication of effort that would otherwise be incurred if GRC were to award to another source in the interim period. The TIALS-2 contract supports the following requirements for NASA GRC�s mission: Logistics, Stock Purchases, Media Services Records Management and Archives/History Support, Library and Learning Center, Metrology, Administrative and Clerical Services, and Exhibits. The extension is necessary as a follow-on contract is not anticipated to be awarded prior to the completion of the current contract. This extension is intended to allow for the current contract to be initially extended by nine-months with three additional one-month extension options for a total potential of up to 12 months of additional period of performance. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Lauren Steigerwald at lauren.e.steigerwald@nasa.gov no later than 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on July 22, 2022. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.� All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
