- The Department of the Treasury invites you to attend a virtual event on�Tuesday, August 16, 2022, from 10:00am to 12:00pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) for vendors in underserved business communities and new entrants.� Treasury will webcast an outreach event to promote equity for vendors from underserved business communities, targeting new entrants, in collaboration with the Treasury bureaus and Small Business Administration (SBA). The purpose of the event is to educate vendors, through a series of demos and presentations, on how to better utilize various tools, portals, and resources, to assist in granting access to the federal marketplace in preparation for government contracts. Underserved communities and new entrants, include but not limited to, small, small disadvantaged, women owned, HUBZone, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, women owned, and minority owned businesses (regardless of size), LGBTQ+, disabled, and rural businesses, are encouraged to register and participate. This event is open to the general public. ALL are welcome to register.� Registration OPENS Tuesday, July 5, 2022, and CLOSES Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at 11:59pm.� We look forward to your attendance!
