Description
This Request for Information (RFI) announcement is to request information and is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. This RFI is published for Market Research purposes only. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) seeks capabilities statements related to research and development of the Mobile Field Kit (MFK) CBRN and MFK Enterprise information management tool software development packages for the National Guard (NG) CBRN Response Enterprise (CRE). The tools developed and refined through this effort will help CRE forces manage mission information in the wake of a nuclear detonation or other radiological event, providing Situational Awareness (SA) and Common Operating Picture (COP) capability, enabling improved decision support, thus contributing to the mission of the Nuclear Technologies-Detection Division (NTD). Specific areas of focus of work through this effort include: numerical tracking modules, web-portal Graphical User Interface management, training event evaluation tool, test and evaluation, logistics and supply management, sample collection, and training support. This effort supports the NG CRE Information Management System (CIMS) program, in partnership with the NG Bureau (NGB) Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction Division, NGB-J39. An acceptable response to this RFI does *not* require the contractor to submit anything other than a cover letter and a capabilities statement for their company (NO PRICING). Please see attachment for required information.
