- Expression of Interest Sought The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) currently occupies 3,600 Rental Square Feet (RSF) / 3,130 Net Usable Square Feet (NUSF) of office space in a building under lease in Lawrenceville, GA. The current lease expires July 15, 2022; and as a result, the Government has a requirement for a long-term lease for the same square footage in the following delineated area: NORTH: South of Holland Place SOUTH: North of Duluth Highway EAST: East of riverside Parkway WEST: West of Lawrenceville Suwanee Road Note: Building cannot be within a 100-year flood plain. The Government seeks to lease approximately 3,600 RSF / 3,130 NUSF of office space. The lease term requirement is ten (10) years; five (5) firm, five (5) non-firm years. The space must be available for occupancy by October 1, 2022. This requirement is for a fully-service lease (all utility, services, maintenance costs included in rent). The Government is interested in considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In addition, the Government will consider among other things, relocation costs, including the physical move and the voice and data systems move, when deciding whether it should relocate or pursue a sole-source acquisition. Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing and must include building address and total RSF / NUSF. Note: NUSF square footage does not include areas such as stairs, elevators, mechanical and utility rooms, ducts, shafts, vestibules, public corridors, and public toilets required by local code. All interested parties must respond to this announcement no later than July 15, 2022, at 4:00 PM (Eastern).
