Description

Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, JBSA - Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price sole source contract to Advance Accelerator Applications USA, Inc. under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a)(1)(ii), sole source, for the requirement Pediatric Orthopedic Implants. The Orthopediatrics Response System includes the proprietary Jiminy Reduction Instruments which assist the placement of anatomically correct spinal position for fixation. These products must provide orthopedic related surgical solutions for the multitude of trauma procedures in pediatric patients such as cerebral palsy, dysplasia, length discrepancies, varus and valgus abnormalities, growth plate modulation, club foot, rotational deformities and countless other pediatric specific needs. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 339113, Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing. The Small Business Size Standard is 750 employees.� Award will be made on or after 15 Sept 2022. The solicitation number is W81K0022Q0148, and is generated for the purposes of posting this notice. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete the purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. Must have pediatric sports medicine surgical sets. 6. Must have pediatric contoured clavicle plates. 8. Must have an intramedullary nail with an anterior bow. 9. Must have bioresorbable implants and instruments.
