- This is a standing notice for all small businesses, which will be renewed at the end of the calendar year.� The Office Mangement category welcomes all feedback from small businesses within the category.�� NOTE: This is not a Request for Quote/Proposal.� It is a request for information ONLY.� There is no requirement associated with this request.� The intent is to explore ideas to better support the small business community. � � Who should review and respond to this special notice/information request? This notice is being posted to ALL small business vendors who have previously done business with the federal government under the Office Management category or those interested in future� business under this category. Agencies interested in discussing small business participation within the Office Management category are also welcome to review this notice and contact OfficeManagement@gsa.gov to discuss in further detail.�� How to Submit your Response to this Request for Information: Submit your response via email, preferably by typing your response in the body of the email, or via email attachment.�� For those unfamiliar with Category Management, please visit the following website for more information:� https://hallways.cap.gsa.gov/app/#/gateway/category-management-landing-page Office Management Category Small Business Statistics: The Office Management category has consistently seen high levels of small business spend.� Over the last 5 years, small business spend has ranged from 57.2% to 63.7% for the Office Management category, which is the highest among all Government-wide categories. While we are proud of the statistics to date, we recognize there is always room for improvement and we want to get your input as to how our category can best support the small business community.� Office Management Category Breakdown The Office Management category is broken into 3 main subcategories: Furniture Office Management Products Office Management Services Information Request We hope you will take a few minutes to complete this brief information request so that we can better understand the concerns of the small business community and how the Office Management category can address them moving forward.� Please share your ideas and suggestions for future interaction with our category team.� Your responses to the questions below, along with any other feedback you would like to share can be submitted via email to OfficeManagement@gsa.gov by the above listed date.�� Small Business Questions Has your company ever held a contract under the Office Management category? If so, please identify the subcategories for which you have received contracts.�� � Does your company currently hold contracts under the Office Management category?� If so, please identify the subcategories for which you hold contracts.��� � Please share the volume of spend your company has done with the Federal government under the Office Management category, either on an annual basis or lifetime revenue .� (Optional) � Is your company actively pursuing Federal government contracts?� Are you aware of any barriers to entry under the Office Management category, under a specific subcategory listed above, or for a specific Federal agency contract? � In your view, is there anything the Office Management category could do to remove barriers to entry?� Please explain.�� � Are there agencies you would like the Office Management category to reach out to in regards to their small business activity under this category?� Please identify contracts and/or programs whenever possible so that we can identify the appropriate POCs for a discussion.� � Contract awards to small businesses are important but equity in awarding contracts is also critical.� Is there anything we can do to ensure a more equitable distribution of contracts under the Office Management category/subcategory? � Would you be interested in webinars sponsored by the Office Management category focused on small business participation?� If so, please share specific areas of interest.�� � Please share any additional thoughts or ideas you have regarding small business participation under the Office Management category: � This completes the request for information, we appreciate your time in submitting this response.� Thank you, The Office Management Category Team
