- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure a Cost Plus Fixed Fee and Firm Fixed Priced Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 from Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems Company (SAS), 2000 East El Segundo Blvd, El Segundo, CA 90245. This requirement is for a five year period of performance. �This procurement is for technical services for the F/A-18 and E/A18-G Sensor System software and hardware to incorporate updates, improvements, and enhancements of tactical capabilities. �The sensor systems include Advanced Targeting Forward-Looking Infra-red (ATFLIR), and the AN/APG-65, AN/APG-73 and AN/APG-79 radars. �The contractor shall provide technical support for hardware and software anomaly investigation, design, development, documentation, integration, test, and evaluation of systems and support equipment as a result of the F/A-18/ and EA-18G lifecycle. �Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems Company (SAS) is the original and sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the AN/APG-65, AN/APG-73 and AN/APG-79 sensor systems, and the Advanced Targeting Forward-Looking Infra-red (ATFLIR). �The Government does not possess adequate technical data or the rights necessary to competitively award this requirement. Estimated award date is February 2023. Delivery requirements shall be F.O.B. Destination China Lake, CA. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing they can fulfill the requirement may submit a written response which shall be considered by the Agency. �The written response shall reference solicitation number N6893621R0042 and clearly show the firm�s capability, background, experience, and assets necessary to meet the requirement without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and delivery of the product and without substantial duplication of cost to the Government. �Written responses shall be submitted by email to lindsay.m.cook2.civ@us.navy.mil or mailed to Commander, Code D210000 (Lindsay Cook), 1 Administration Circle, STOP 1303, China Lake, CA 93555-6100 within 15 days from the Notice date. �
