Description
This Sources Sought Notice�/ Request for Information (RFI) is strictly for market research.� It is for informational and planning purposes and shall NOT be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), Office of Policy and International Affairs, has a requirement for the maintenance, inspections, including documentation, and management of 75 Heartsine AED Batteries The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine the interest and capability of potential Small Businesses firms to meet this requirement defined in the scope below. SPECIFICATIONS/ SCOPE Objective The overall objective of this contract is to have the awardee maintain, inspect and manage all AEDs assigned to USPTO, at all owned, rented or leased locations.� This would include medical oversight and direction, inspection, documentation of inspection and all other related functions.� Scope The scope of the work involves and is centered on providing medical oversight for all AEDs assigned to USPTO. this contract will be responsible for the maintenance, inspections, including documentation, and management of 75 installed (Heartsine) AEDs assigned to the USPTO.� As it pertains to any medical interaction or activation of any assigned AEDs, which includes EMS registration, and providing USPTO with Policy and Procedures manuals.� If and when needed site analysis for and with AED placement recommendations via phone.� AED event review and documentation by medical director (Medical Doctor), customized software for tracking AED maintenance and CPR Training information, if and when needed.� The contractor shall provide the personnel, resources, and equipment, as appropriate, to provide efficient and cost-effective procurement support services for all assigned AED devices. Place of Performance The place of performance will align with the location site of where the majority of the work is accomplished.� In this case, that location will be determined by the contractor and work, if and when required, will not be performed at the government site.� If and when needed, devices will be mailed to selected contractors, data will be collected formatted and returned to the address listed below: ����� USPTO Headquarters ����� Safety and Health Division ������ 550 John Carlyle Street ����� Alexandria, Virginia 22314 AED/Battery Locations The required items will be located in the Madison, Randolph, Jefferson, Knox, Remsen and Randolph Square buildings at the USPTO Campus in Alexandria, VA 22314.� �There will also be additional AED battery located in the fitness center, cafeteria, and Health Unit.
