Description

This is not a request for quote/proposal but a synopsis notice. Pursuant to FAR 5.203(a) Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD), on behalf of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (CAPE), intends to extend services by issuing an extension to the incumbent, Tyto Government Solutions, Inc. on a sole source basis, 510 Spring St., Ste. 200, Herndon, VA� 20170-5148. The services are being extended to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Information Management and Analysis Group (IMAG) Support � Knowledge Management and Software Development. The contractor is currently performing services under task order number HQ0034-17-F-0291, with services concluding on August 19, 2022. �The anticipated period of performance is for six months from August 20, 2022 to February 19, 2023. The anticipated extension will be made under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.405-6(a) (1)(C), ""In the interest of economy and efficiency, the new work is a logical follow-on to an original Federal Supply Schedule order provided that the originial order placed in accordance with the applicable Federal Supply Schedule ordering procedures. The originial order or BPA must not have been previously issued under sole-source or limited-sources procedures."" Currently, the requirement is going through a competitive acquisition an anticipated award date February 20, 2023.
