Market Survey Sources Sought Synopsis June 27, 2022 Request for Interested and Capable Sources for Aircraft Simulator Maintenance Services a)�������� This is not a Screening Information Request or Request for Proposals of any kind; b)�������� The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals; c)�������� The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey; and d)�������� Any costs associated with the market survey submittal are solely at the interested vendor�s expense. General Information: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Aviation Safety Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI) Human Factors Research Division, (AAM-500) is conducting a Sources Sought/Market Analysis seeking Interested and Capable Parties to support its requirements to maintain and modify its Human Factors Research Laboratory aircraft simulators and associated equipment. Please see draft performance work statement attachment. This effort requires a Support Services Contractor to provide technical support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI). The contractor must furnish and make available all personnel, supplies, equipment, materials, data, facilities, and services necessary to assist in accomplishing the mission.� As directed by the FAA, the contractor may also be required to interface with manufacturers of laboratory equipment and other providers of applicable services. The intent of this market survey is to permit companies that may possess the technical capabilities to meet this requirement an opportunity to provide specific information as to their unique capabilities as specified in this announcement. All interested parties are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to this Market Survey/Request for Information. Therefore, any costs associated with Market Survey/Request for Information submissions will be solely at the interested party�s expense. Response to this Market Survey: Qualified vendors are invited to submit documentation evidencing the possession of the following capabilities 1. Capability Statement - This document should identify: �� � � � Type of services provided by firm, �� � � � Size and type of services provided by previous contracts or experience involving Aircraft Simulator support and other tasks identified in the attached draft PWS (provide detailed information and past performance), �� � � � Number of years in business Any information provided under this market survey is for informational purposes only and will not be released. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked.� No evaluation of vendors will occur and vendor participation in any informational session is not a promise of future business with the FAA. All responses (one response per company) are to be provided on company letterhead.� No type font less than 12-point may be used.� Responses must be received no later than 3:30 P.M, Central Standard Time on July 15, 2022.� The FAA prefers that all submittals, including attachments, be submitted electronically to the following email address: andre.casiano@faa.gov.� �� Mark email responses to this survey with the subject line �Market Survey: Aircraft Simulator Support� Please submit in a portable document format (pdf); however, Microsoft Word is acceptable.
