- Type: Pre-Solicitation Notice Agency/Office: Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10 Title: Three (3) Year High Voltage Testing and Calibration Classification Code: H159 Quality Control- Electrical & Electronic Equipment Components NAICS Code: 238210 Quality Control Electrical & Electronic Equipment Components Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10 is seeking to acquire Triennial (Every Three Years) Electrical Testing and Calibration electrical systems in accordance with the statement of work for the Northern Indiana Healthcare Systems, Ft. Wayne Campus located at 2121 Lake Ave. Ft. Wayne, IN 46805 and Marion Campus located at 1700 E. 38th St., Marion, IN 46953. Clean, test, adjust, calibrate, and inspect all the below mentioned electrical distribution apparatus. This shall include, but not be limited to, power transformers, switchgear, motor control centers, distribution centers, panel boards, air circuit breaker, vacuum circuit breakers, and loop switches listed in the statement of work. Over-current testing apparatus shall be limited to over-current relays for each 15 KV and 5 KV circuit breaker. Megger voltage shall not exceed IEEE standards. No high pot voltage to be applied to feeder wires. All equipment will be isolated from panel and feeders during testing for proper data reading. No variance. Contractor is responsible to reinstall equipment to original condition; verifying voltage, phasing and rotation. Any damage to equipment due to contractor neglect is the contractor s financial responsibility. The VA anticipates awarding a firm, fixed price contract for these services. The Government anticipates release of the RFQ to be July 19, 2022 with a due date of July 28, 2022 at 3:00 pm. Site Visit for each site will be held on July 21, 2022. Questions must be submitted in written form via e-mail to the Contracting Officer no later than 9:00 am EST July 22, 2022.
