Description
This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This acquisition will be made in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 �Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and solicitation for commercial Items,� as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation (a written solicitation will not be issued) and quotes are being requested. The Solicitation number is RFQ-NIAID-2126562 and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). This acquisition will be processed under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-06, Effective 05/26/2022.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811219, Other Electronic and Precession Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a small business size standard of $22,000,000.00. The requirement is being competed full and open competition, un-restricted and without a small business set-aside. The Integrated Research Facility (IRF) of NIAID and as a part of the National Interagency Biodefense Campus is seeking to procure a maintenance agreement for Illumina equipment: See the attached for list of equipment and serial numbers. See the attached for service requirements. This is daily mission essential equipment and requires priority response for OEM technicians. See attachment for service specifications. *Note: A 48 to 72 -hour priority status is required for this service agreement. Failure to meet the timeline for repairs may result in an unsatisfactory rating in Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS). *Third-party vendors must include their guaranteed response time to make emergency calls. *Third-party vendors must schedule and coordinate PM visits with and for the equipment. *Quote submitted from third-party vendor must list the software updates on separate line with separate price as software updates are only included with an Illumina service plan and will be billed separately. Place of Performance: NIAID/IRF 8200 Research Plaza Frederick, MD 21702 FOB: Destination Period of Performance: 08/25/2022-02/28/2023 * By submitting a quotation, you are accepting that all government terms and conditions set forth herein shall prevail over the award. The government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to the responsible contractor as a result of this RFQ that will include the terms and conditions set forth herein.
