Questionas and Answers: Q1:��Does the government want contractor to include pricing for temporary offices/storage for the user? A1:� No, we do not want temporary office Q2:��Once the building is demolished, does the government want the contractor to build a wall built to complete the greenhouse? This was mentioned at the site visit. To provide accurate and competitive pricing, it is important to know the general details of what wall type the government would prefer at this area. A2:� Yes, we do want a wall rebuilt preferably a greenhouse type wall with a 36 in door in the center. Q3:��Can the government provide the thickness of the foundation? A3:� We do not know the thickness of the foundation. Q4:� If an asbestos/lead survey exists, can the government please provide that to the contractors?��4a. If there is no asbestos/lead survey available, should the contractor include one in the proposal? A4:��I am not aware of any plans at the location for this building due to its age. Yes I will attach the hazardous materials survey. Asbestos Inspection Report added. Q5:��Is Building 24 connected to both city water and gas? A5:� Yes, the building is connected to city water and gas. Q6:��Will the contractor be expected to install silt fence prior to demolition? If so, please indicate where on a site map. A6:��No, silt fencing will be needed. Q7:��Will the contractor be expected to grass the area once demolition is complete? If so, is this to be by means of seed/straw, sod or hydroseed? And will the contractor be expected to provide watering services or irrigation for a certain duration of time? A7:��Yes, we do expect the contractor o seed the area with grass seed/no irrigation will be required by the contractor. Q8:��Are there any special permits required outside of the Georgia 811 Permit? A8:��No special permits im aware of outside Georgia 811. Q9:��Can the bid date be extended to allow time to incorporate the responses of the RFI�s? A9:��The solicitation can be extended if an extension is needed. A site visit has been selected for Monday, July 18, 2022, at 1:00 PM. Please provide the name of your company and the names of those requesting to attend to lynn.hults@usda.gov. This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 12405B22Q0236 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83. The associated NAICS code is 238910 (Site Preparation Contractors), with a small business size standard of $16.5 Million. USDA, ARS, CGBRU 2058 Moore Highway Tifton, GA 31794 Is looking for procurement the Demolition and Removal of BLDG 24 that fits into the associated Statement of Work. The Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract. Each offer must show a breakdown giving price of each element, provide descriptive literature or information showing that the offered items meet all parts of the Equipment Requirements. Vendors responding to this announcement shall submit their quote in accordance with FAR 52.212-1. Submission of quote shall include the following: (1) Technical Specifications and (2) Price (to include shipping). Electronic submissions are preferred.
