- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source purchase order to EXAKT Technologies, Inc. (cage code 3FC32), 13501 Railway Dr, Oklahoma City, Ok, 73114-2283, for the purchase of an EXAKT 302 Diamond Blade Saw. The EXAKT 302 diamond band saw, is manufactured and distributed by EXAKT Technologies, LLC, a small business. They are the sole source distributor that provides installation, training, and manufacturer's warranty. The EXAKT saw is installed by one of EXAKT's trained technicians to avoid any warranty issues. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, EXAKT Technologies, Inc., under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (1)(i). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability of responding to this requirement of an EXAKT 302 Diamond Band Saw, or interested parties may submit quotes/offers. This notice of intent is neither a request for competitive quotes nor a solicitation for offers. However, all quotes/offers for the EXAKT 302 Diamond Band Saw received by the closing date and time of this Notice of Intent will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If the Government decides to compete this requirement, the Government shall use the following five (5) factors to evaluate quotes: Technical Capability, Pricing, Lead Time, Warranty, and Onsite Training.
