Description
Project Description: Work is anticipated to include Design-Bid-Build (DBB) construction services to construct a Fuel Hydrant System Replacement. The contractor shall provide the piping, equipment and supporting facilities for a new JP-8 fuel system. Storage tanks. The new system shall include aboveground storage tanks, a transfer pump shelter, truck off-loading, refueler truck loading, and aircraft hydrant fueling system. The two new 5,000 BBL storage tanks shall be field erected AFPI 650, vertical storage tanks with floating pans. Tanks shall be provided within a secondary concrete containment area. Pump shelter and control building. The pump shelter shall include four new 600 gpm pumps and six new filter/separators. The associated control building shall provide administrative functions such as control room and bathroom.Two 600 gpm ski mounted truck off-loading stations and two 600 gpm refueler truck fill stands. The truck fueling facilities shall include concrete containment areas and spill intercept structures to provide secondary containment for the truck off-loading or refueling operations. The project shall include seven new aircraft hydrant fueling pits on the existing parking apron, along with associated piping, insolation valves, vents and drains.All associated utilities, structures, and electrical service included emergency generator shall be provided.In accordance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 236.204(ii) the estimated magnitude of construction is expected to be between $25,000,000.00 and $100,000,000.00. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for the potential requirement is anticipated to be 237120 (Oil and Gas Pipeline and Related Structures Construction). The small business size standard for this NAICS, as established by the U.S. Small Business Administration, is $39.5 Million annual revenue. The Product Service Code for the potential requirement is anticipated to be Y1NA (Construction of Fuel Supply Facilities).
