Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) in Denver, Colorado and the Acquisition Operations Branch (AOB) are performing market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of qualified Small Businesses, (i.e., small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, Hub Zone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business) to set aside a Firm Fixed Price Contract. Reclamation will use responses to this notice to make the appropriate acquisition decision. The contemplated solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 13 via a written request for quote (RFQ). Reclamation intends to award a contract for leasing pilot equipment for testing coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, and media filtration of surface waters, which will be conducted in the Republic of Palau. The acquisition shall include the provision of all required spare parts and filter media; training of Reclamation personnel to operate the pilot equipment; shipment of the pilot system enclosure/container, containing all required pilot equipment, supplies, spare parts, media, etc., to and from Palau; and remote technical support for troubleshooting for the duration of the pilot testing, which is anticipated to be a minimum of four months. All interested contractors who can supply the requested equipment, supplies, and support listed above shall respond with information describing their interest, capabilities statements, and indicate which small business category for which they qualify (if applicable). Email responses are required. The due date for responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis is at 12:00 PM Mountain Daylight Time on August 3, 2022. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 532490 � Other Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing, which contains a size standard of $35.0 million, is applicable to this acquisition. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications and in conjunction with FAR 4.11, are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time an offer or quotation is submitted.
