The purpose of this project is to provide conservation treatment and stabilization of cultural material items from the Nez Perce National Historical Park (NEPE) museum collection by a qualified conservator. List of objects is included in the attached Statement of Work. All objects are located at the Nez Perce National Historical Park, Spalding Unit Visitor Center. The conservation and stabilization treatments are needed to prevent further damage to the Nez Perce cultural material in the park's museum collection. The treatment will also provide documentation of condition prior to and following treatment. This documentation will serve as visual evidence from which to monitor objects for subsequent possible deterioration or changes in condition or appearance.
