This is a Request for Information (RFI), this is not a Request for Quotes (RFQ) or Request for Proposals (RFP). No formal solicitation document exists at this present time. This is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is for market research to gain knowledge of potential vendors qualified under NAICS code search for 339113 includes surgical and supplies manufacturing PSC 6515 medical NAIC size standard of 1000 employees for the Facility Huntington VAMC. Responses to this Sources Sought notice will be utilized by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought notice, a solicitation announcement may or may not be published in FedBizOpps (FBO) or GSA ebuy. REQUESTED INFORMATION If you are interested and capable, and can provide the required supplies please provide the requested information as indicated below: Responses to this Sources Sought notice shall also include: company name, address, point of contact, SAM UEI, size of business: Is this item on contract with your GSA, SEWP, other federal contract, or the NAC contract? SOW: Statement of Work (SOW) for the Olympus OTV-S200 Video Processor and Digital Camera Heads 1.1 Background The mission of the Hershel Woody Williams VAMC is to provide whole health care for veterans of military service. The mission of the Surgery Department is to provide safe, efficient, high quality surgical care. This acquisition is required to be able to provide urological procedures that aid in the detection and treatment of urological cancer. The requested equipment would provide an upgrade in technology. This equipment is used on approximately 420 procedures per year. The equipment allows for enhanced visualization of images which are then displayed on a screen for the surgeon to diagnose and treat conditions such as ureteral stones, bladder stones, enlarged prostates, and tumors both benign and malignant. This equipment contributes to early detection and treatment for our Veterans. This equipment is used by the Urology Specialty. 1.2 Objective 1. The requested acquisition will provide replacement (7) parts for existing scope equipment that to diagnoses and treats urological conditions of Veteran patients and trade in (7) parts.
