- Description
- The Bureau of the Fiscal Service, on behalf of the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA), intends to make an award on a sole source basis to: - Industrial Communications and Electronics, Inc., 350 N.W. 215th St., N., Miami, FL 33169. - Alpha Communications Sites, Inc., 1202 S 300 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84101-3047. - Spectrasite Communications, LLC 400 Regency Forest Dr., Ste 300, Cary, NC, 27518-7703. - American Towers L.P., 116 Huntington Ave STE 1100, Boston, MA 02116-5786. - Hasty�s Communications East, Inc., 112 Key Drive Brunswick, GA 31520-2830 The Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) currently has two-way signal (repeater) equipment installed on towers to maintain secure radio communication from one tower to another, virtually eliminating shadowing, fading, and dead spots. The tower owner listed below is the only responsible source with the ability to provide mission critical uninterrupted service at the tower locations where TIGTA�s government owned equipment is currently located. Relocating the equipment requires down time causing undue hardship to TIGTA�s mission and required 24/7 service to special agents. Subject to final approval, The Bureau of the Fiscal Service (BFS), on behalf of the TIGTA, intends to negotiate a sole-source procurement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, to: � Industrial Communications and Electronics, Inc., 40 Lone St. Marshfield, MA 02050-2102 for the antenna site lease renewal at the following location: 350 N.W. 215th St., N., Miami, FL 33169. � Alpha Communications Sites, Inc., 1202 S 300W, Salt Lake City, UT 84101-3047 for the antenna site lease renewal at the following location in Salt Lake City, UT. � Spectrasite Communications, LLC 400 Regency Forest Dr., Ste 300, Cary, NC, 27518-7703, for the antenna site lease renewal at the following location: Santiago Peak, Corona, CA. � 116 Huntington Ave STE 1100, Boston, MA 02116-5786, for the antenna site lease renewal at the following location: Shaw Butte, AZ � Hasty�s Communications East, Inc., 112 Key Drive Brunswick, GA 31520-2830, on a sole source basis, for an antenna site lease agreement. The intended period of performance for this requirement is October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2027. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. A request for more information, or a copy of the solicitation, will not be considered an affirmative response to this Special Notice. Telephone responses or inquiries to this Special Notice will NOT be accepted. Responses to this request shall be submitted on or before 12:00 p.m. ET on August 04, 2022 by email to purchasing@fiscal.treasury.gov , Attn: DAlbrecht. The following file extensions are not allowable and application materials/data submitted with these extensions cannot be considered: .bat, .cmd, .com, .exe, .pif, .rar, .scr, .vbs, .hta, .cpl, and .zip files. Microsoft Office compatible documents are acceptable. No other information regarding this Special Notice will be provided at this time. This notice does not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. All vendors responding to this notice are advised that their response is not a request that will be considered for contract award. Responses will be shared with the federal government agencies as part of market research for fulfilling future similar requirements.
