Description

The 436th Contracting Squadron (436 CONS) is seeking capable firms (nationwide) that are interested in providing the following requirement: The vendor shall provide a replacement for fire truck turret.�This turret cannot be rebuilt due to a coating process used to withstand the 1300 PSI of pressure developed by using a Ultra High Pressured System. The turret accounts for 3000 gallons of the required 13,100 gallons of Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting capability to safely operate in the flightline. This sources sought is issued for informational and planning purposes only and will be used to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The Air Force will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties responding to this sources sought. Responses will not be considered as quotes, nor will any award be made as a result of this sources sought. Contact with Government personnel other than those specified in this sources sought by potential offerors or their employees regarding this project is prohibited. This Beta.Sam notice is an announcement seeking market information on vendors capable of providing the product as described herein.
