Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source: Pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) intends to issue a sole source award to Politico PRO, 1000 Wilson Blvd. 8th Floor, Arlington VA 22209-2249. ��The FMCSA �Office of Administration has a requirement to establish a contract for 4 licenses for online access to Politico Pro Plus.� Politico Pro provides access to real-time policy news, real-time email alerts, newsletters, �reports and in-depth analysis, bill tracking and research tools. The data provided by these subscriptions is unique to Politico Pro and cannot be obtained via any other single source.� FMCSA intends to issue an award to include a twelve (12) month base period and four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. The intent of this notice is not to request competitive proposals, and any information received from interested parties will only be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement should be conducted. However, interested parties may submit a description of their firm's capabilities for satisfying this requirement, which demonstrates they possess the ability to successfully perform this effort. Any responses must be received no later than July 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM EST. Any questions concerning this matter should be addressed directly to the Contracting Officer, mark.miller@dot.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
