- Description
- This is a notice of intent that AFSC anticipates issuing a one-time Firm Fixed Price commercial purchase order for repair of Power Supply, 10 each, NSN: 6130?01?451?3046 CW, P/N PS12295, with delivery within 70 calendar days. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Brandt Electronics (CAGE Code: 57837). However, Interested Party or Person(s) may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal(s). OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. When appropriate, potential offeror(s) may contact Ombudsman: Dr. Thomas�Eller at 478-222-1088. Please be prepared to identify previous contacts made by you in an attempt to resolve your concerns. These services require the contractor to accomplish repair of designated National Stock Number (NSN) observing accepted quality standards and relevant technical standards. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, quality systems, and vendor services necessary to ensure items are returned to serviceable condition, meet the Original�Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) specifications, and are provided to the Government in the desired�time frame. The contractor shall also track and resolve items affected by Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDR) and promptly provide serviceable assets within the established Turn Around Time (TAT). The contractor shall also provide timely and accurate reporting in Commercial Asset Visibility Air Force (CAVAF) system. Government property identified as NSN 6130014513046CW, part�number PS12295 will be provided for repair. The period of performance for this contract will be twelve months after the date of contract award.
