Description
A second site visit date and time have been set for Friday July 29, 2022 at 9:00 AM EST. Please ensure that you provide your attendance request with the company name and name of attendees to lynn.hults@usda.gov by the close of business Thursday 28th, 3:00 PM CST. Extending solicitation until the 5th of Aug. Questions & Answers Q1:��Are the Condensing Water Pumps 50% pumps or 100% redundant? � A1:��The final configuration after all future phases is for 100% redundant pumps with 800 ton chillers.� At the completion of phase 1, the pumps will be operating with 2 existing 400 ton chillers 50%. Q2:��What is the allowable time frame for an electrical outage?� A2:��All outages will be minimized and scheduled with the COR.� Total building outage for work in the main switchgear will be after hours (10pm-5am) or on weekend afternoon (after 5pm). Q3:��What is the allowable, or preferred, time for the chilled water outage?� A3:��Time is to minimized and scheduled with the COR.� Time of year affects the availability but during most seasons, depending on duration of the outage it will also be weekend or weekdays after 5pm. Q4:��What are the 2 electrical boxes mounted on top of the MCC?� Are these to be relocated? A4:��These are abandoned motor starters, no relocation required. In accordance with FAR 28.102-1, Performance and Payment Bonds, Policy on Use, the requirement of bid guarantee for solicitation 12405B22Q0200, for Phase 1 of Upgrade Chiller in Athens, GA will be required. In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the magnitude of this contract project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.� The site visit date and time have changed. The new date and time will be Wednesday July 13, 2022 at 1:00 PM. Please ensure that you provide your attendance request with the company name and name of attendees to lynn.hults@usda.gov by the close of business the day prior. The site visit on the 8th has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. A new site visit will be scheduled early next week. A site visit has been set for this project. It will be set for Friday July 8th at 9am EST. The site visit will be at the below location. Provide license to the gaurd and inform them what you are there for. Please provide me the name and company of each person you are requesting to attend this site visit at lynn.hults@usda.gov. I will forward this list to the locations representative. This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation. Solicitation Number 12405B22Q0200. The Associated NAICS code is 238220 (Plumping, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors), with a small business size standard of $16.5 Million. USDA, ARS, CGBR 950 College Station Rd Athens, GA 30605 Needs Phase 1 of the Chiller Upgrade fits the associated Statement of Work and Specifications. The Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract. Each offer must show a breakdown giving price of each element, provide descriptive literature or information showing that the offered service meets all parts of the Statement of Work and Specifications. Electronic submissions are preferred. Please email all quotes to lynn.hults@usda.gov. NO LATE QUOTES WILL BE ACCEPTED. To be eligible for an award, all contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). A contractor can contact SAM by calling 1-866-606-8220 or e-mail at www.sam.gov. NO EXCEPTIONS. A UEI (Unique Entity ID) number is required in order to register. All invoices shall be submitted and paid electronically. Quotes must be received no later than Friday July 29, 2022, 4:00pm Central Standard Time. Questions regarding this combined synopsis/solicitation are due no later than 3:00 PM CST on Friday July 22, 2022. Answers to any questions received by that time will be posted as an amendment to this combined synopsis/solicitation.
