- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services and/or supplies prepared in accordance�with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information�included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are�being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This is a Request For Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number for this requirement is�FA568222Q7047.�The 31st Contracting Squadron at Aviano AB, Italy, requires�a Laser Etcher. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: Laser Etcher The United States Air Force (USAF) anticipates awarding a single Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) contract for a Laser Etcher capable of meeting the specifications as per Attachment #1. The�solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-06 effective 26 May 2022, DFAR DPN 20220623, and AFFAR AFAC effective 07 July 2022. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 333515 - Cutting Tool and Machine Tool Accessory Manufacturing.�A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded.� Specific Instructions All offerors are required to complete and submit the attached Combined Synopsis-Solicitation dated 26 July 2022 of this solicitation IAW�FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors under Attachment #2. BASIS FOR AWARD:�The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.�Reference� attached Combined Synopsis-Solicitation and Addendum to 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items for more information.
