Description

The Rocky Mountain Research Station (RMRS), Missoula Fire Science Lab � Missoula, MT intends to issue a firm fixed price, sole source award to Otis Elevator Company, E. 510 North Foothills Dr. Spokane, WA 99207 for Elevator Hydraulic Plunger Repacking. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1). The Missoula Fire Science Lab requires repair of the Hydraulic plunger for an elevator located within their facility.� As these elevators may only be serviced by licensed and certified Otis Elevator Technicians, only Otis Elevator of Spokane, WA would be eligible for award as they are the servicing location for this geographic area. Therefore, this sole source is authorized under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The anticipated award date is August 5, 2022. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 238290 and the size standard is $16,500,000.00. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement was based market research. A solicitation will not be issued. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
