- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Green River District/Price Field Office intends to award a single, firm-fixed price contract for rehabilitation of three (3) native surface trails with a combined distance of 1.7 miles with approximately 1.5 miles requiring maintenance, rehabilitation, or re-routing with associated reclaiming. Trail design and construction must employ proven sustainability techniques that ensure trails shed water, self-compact, and do not cause erosion. The Contractor shall be responsible for all labor, material, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies needed to complete the work. This project is located on the Jurassic National Monument approximately 13 miles southeast of Cleveland, UT in Emery County. A site visit will not be held. Photos and maps are attached for reference. Estimated period of performance is 10/01/2022 thru 10/31/2023. Work can be done anytime during this time; however, the contract period of performance is 60 days from issuance of the notice to proceed. This project will be 100% set aside for small business vendors under the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 237990 � Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, $39.5M. Davis Bacon Act (DBA) is applicable, and the appropriate DBA Wage Determination(s) will be included in the solicitation. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. No bid bond is required but a payment bond shall be provided by the awardee prior to issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Request for Quote (RFQ) under solicitation number 140L5722Q0016, will be posted electronically at SAM.gov on or about August 12, 2022. Dates are subject to change. To obtain the solicitation and/or amendments/updates for this project, contractors shall monitor the solicitation at the sites listed above. Interested parties shall periodically check for amendments and other changes to the solicitation documents.
