Description

Expression of Interest Sought The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) currently occupies 9,968 Rental Square Feet (RSF) / 7,383.70 Net Usable Square Feet (NUSF) of office space in a building under lease in Florence, SC. The current lease expires 30 September 2022; and as a result, the Government has a requirement for a long-term lease for the same square footage in the following delineated area: NORTH: I-95 to US52 SOUTH: US 76 to South Cashua Drive to South Knollwood Road to Alligator Road EAST: West Lucas Street to East Lucas Street to South Church Street to East on Freedom Blvd. to South Irby St WEST: I-95 Note: Building cannot be within a 100-year flood plain. The Government seeks to lease approximately 9968 RSF / 7,383.70 NUSF of office space. The lease term requirement is four (4) years; two (2) firm, two (2) non-firm years. The space must be available for occupancy by 01 October 2022. This requirement is for a fully-service lease (all utility, services, maintenance costs included in rent). The Government is interested in considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In addition, the Government will consider among other things, relocation costs, including the physical move and the voice and data systems move, when deciding whether it should relocate or pursue a sole-source acquisition. Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing and must include building address and total RSF / NUSF. Note: NUSF square footage does not include areas such as stairs, elevators, mechanical and utility rooms, ducts, shafts, vestibules, public corridors, and public toilets required by local code. All interested parties should respond to this announcement no later than August 5, 2022, at 3:00 PM (Eastern).
