Description

Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) delivery order on a sole-source basis under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) number N00164-19-G-JQ69, with Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp (Ball) of Boulder, CO. This order is for for the production, testing and delivery of Independent Mount (IM) Kits comprised of Gimbal Assembly component of the iStalker system. The contemplated delivery order will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(iii). Ball is the only company with the requisite expertise, knowledge, experience and facilities necessary to meet these requirements without unacceptable delays. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Ball directly. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This pre-solicitation notice is for information only and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to solicit contractual offers or award contracts. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted or information provided as a result of this notice.
