- Iowa National Guard 185th RTI Meals 22 Aug � 18 Sept 2022 Johnston, Iowa This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, W912LP-22-Q-4001, is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-06, effective 5/26/2022. This acquisition is 100% Small Business set-aside in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.502-2 (b). The NAICS code is 311991 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Basis for award is Price. The following commercial items are requested in this solicitation: Contractor shall provide breakfast and dinner meals for 185th RTI training event 22 Aug - 18 Sept 2022, in accordance with: Attachment #1, Meals Requirements Statement and Attachment #2, Menus and Headcounts. The Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINS), quantities and units of issue are as follows: CLIN 0001: Dinner Meals, Quantity/Unit of Issue: 3,923 Each CLIN 0002: Breakfast Meals, Quantity/Unit of Issue: 3,741 Each NOTE: Daily headcounts are expected to change (decrease) during the training event. The Contract Specialist and the Contracting Officer will be in constant communication with the awarded vendor about the headcount changes. Proposed prices for CLINS 0001 and 0002 shall be firm-fixed price (FFP) and inclusive of all management, labor, ingredients, supplies, delivery and all other associated expenses required to provide the meal requirements as described within Attachments #1 and #2. The Government prefers all meals of the same type (breakfast, lunch or dinner) to be priced the same, regardless of menu.
